Day Four
Well, things are still going great this side of my four-hour laborious flight. I did pick up a slight case of jaundice. But the doctor said heading to the tanning salon (or just sitting in the sun — these are tough economic times, you know) would help get everything back to normal.
I’m still suffering from a little bit of jet-lag. I just can’t seem to get my nights to feel like days and my days to feel like nights. I’m okay with it, but I think it may be aggravating my elderly housemates (aka Mommy and Daddy).
I also get the munchies a lot. There just doesn’t seem to be a time when I don’t feel like a snack. Others are saying that I should space my meals out a bit. But I don’t know, if the buffet’s going to keep putting out free food, then I’m going to keep eatin’…know what I mean?
Brother Elijah’s a real cool dude. But he tends to really like Mommy, too, and we struggle sometimes over who gets to sit in her lap. The other day he walked right up to Mommy while we were snuggling and said, “Mama hold me…put baby on the floor!”
And I’m like, “Dude, you got her for two years to yourself, and now I’m makin’ up for lost time!”
